What time are your services and where are you located?
We have two services on Sunday Mornings at 9:00 and 10:30 AM. We are located at 5990 NE 14th Street. Des Moines, IA 50313
What denomination is your church?
We are a non denominational church. You can find more about us here
What are your services like?
We have two identical services on Sunday Morning: 9 &10:30am. You can expect each service to last around 60 minutes. The atmosphere is very casual and includes a worship team singing a mix of contemporary music and hymns.
How should I dress?
We dress casual at Capitol City. We want you to be comfortable. Come as you are.
What are your beliefs
We believe the bible is God inspired and that God has existed in three persons – the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit and that God sent his Son to die for our sins so we may have eternal life. More info can be found (here).
What kind of music do you play?
Our music is generally contemporary with a mix of traditional hymns.
Do I need to bring a bible?
No, you do not. We try to put all the scripture on the screen and have sermon notes available on our church app if you would like to follow along.
