Adult Bible Fellowships

The greatest way to get connected at Capitol City Baptist Church is to get involved with an Adult Bible Fellowship.  ABFs have different personalities and directions, but every class offers the opportunity to get to know others and study the Bible in an in-depth and relevant way.  You are encouraged to visit several classes and experience where you fit best.  Led by teachers who love people, love the Lord and love the Word of God, every class will try to make you feel at home.  Ten classes meet each Sunday at 9:30am; one will be just right for you!

Ambassadors-Bob Renaud
This class focuses on building authentic friendships, active prayer for one another and practical Bible study. We often engage in practical ways to minister to each other, have fellowship times and an active prayer chain. We range in age from 45-75. We desire to honestly address today's complex world as Ambassadors for Christ.

Faith Connections-George Tracy
This is a Sunday School class that focuses on topical Bible studies related to practical issues in the Christian life. Studies range from salvation and eternal security to living abundant life in Christ. We have a great time of fellowship and lots of good stuff to eat. All ages welcome.

Expositors-Tom Hudson
This group is designed for those who enjoy the teaching of the Word of God verse by verse and chapter by chapter! We have the purpose of "getting deeper" in our understanding of the Bible. We are also a fellowship of believers purposed to care for and encourage one another. All ages welcome.

Family Builders-Kevin Manwell
Let Family Builders help you lead your family, stretch your faith, and deepen your daily walk. Connecting with other Christian couples is a part of God's plan. Lasting friendships, e-mail, prayer, social activities, dinners and just plain fun are what Family Builders is all about.

The Loft-Kevin Prendergast
A class designed for young men and women who are in college or starting their careers. Always a time of meaningful discussion and relevant Bible Study.  We meet Sunday mornings at 9:30am and also meet for Clarity on Thursday nights at 8:00pm.  

New Foundations-Carl Livingston
An ABF designed for nearly and newly married couples focusing on building strong foundations in our walk with God and in our relationships with one another.

Ladies Growing in Grace-Sally Erskin
Ladies Growing in Grace Class is a place where all ladies are made to feel welcome. It is primarily designed for ladies who come to church alone. We share life's challenges through the Word, prayer and fellowship. Come and join us! We would love to have you become a part of this special group of ladies.

Journeybound-Barron Penner
This ABF is for ordinary people who share common life experiences to come together to encourage one another, study God's Word, and remind ourselves what God has to say to us on relevant issues of life. Like a family, we celebrate the victories experienced by our classmates, and surround one another during difficult times. Check us out; you'll be glad you did!

New Beginnings-Billy Snead
New Beginnings is a fellowship of believers with the purpose of encouraging one another in Christ, understanding and living the Word of God, and making a difference in the world around us. New Beginnings is a group of diverse people in their thirties and forties seeking to know God. Come in and enjoy a New Beginning!

Young at Heart-Bill Dobson
This is a fellowship for our Senior Saints, but don't let that fool you. As our name suggests, we are young at heart. We desire to continue to grow, learn, and serve the Lord. Our group strives to know God's Word and be examples to the younger generations.
